Claire, an Anglican minister with a strong community agenda, is grappling with unfathomable violence ... triggering a spiritual crisis for Claire, and igniting a quest for meaning. She needs to understand WHY? The Boy, the perpetrator of the violence, is  an isolated, troubled young man who also becomes every other character that Claire encounters and questions on her quest.

Each night, a different community choir is performing on stage. The songs performed by the choir on stage chart Claire’s journey towards understanding.
