EL GRANDE de COCA COLA
September 18th
~ October 11th, 2008
The action takes place in a run-down nightclub
in Trujillo, Honduras. Third-rate impresario Pepe Hernandez brashly announces
that he is bringing a group of famous international cabaret stars to perform in
town. He persuades the local Coca-Cola bottling plant to back the show in
exchange for some blatant product placement. With no stars willing to make the
journey or ruin their reputation, Pepe is forced to substitute his untalented
family and palm them off as the celebrities. It’s showtime for Pepe’s disastrous
production of Parada de Estrellas (Parade of the Stars).
It's the REAL THING!

Dolores Hydock brings another amazing show
to TNT! You don't have to be Hamlet, Willy Loman, or Hedda Gabler to be worthy
of a full-length play - - you can be a librarian. A puzzling mystery begins when
a Dutch assistant-acquisitions librarian finds an overdue book in the overnight
slot and becomes determined to track down the offender...especially since the
book is 113 years overdue.
As her endeavors continue, she finds herself on a
journey that unlocks ancient mysteries and moves her to new revelations. |

Baptist Sissies |
|
Follows the journey of four gay boys in the Baptist Church.
Storyteller Mark Lee Fuller tries to create a world of love and acceptance in
the church and clubs of Dallas, TX, while desperately trying to find a place to
put his own pain and rage. The world Mark creates also includes two older
barflies, Peanut and Odette, whose banter takes the audience from hysterical
laughter to tragedy and tears.
With a theme of religion clashing with sexuality,
the play opened to rave reviews in Los Angeles during its original run in 2000
and became the most awarded play of the year, winning the GLAAD Media Award for
Outstanding LA Theatre Production. |
